Oleg Stepanov says Canada retains sanctioning individuals and claimed that Russians are commonly experiencing racism.
In a Russian-language interview final Friday, Stepanov stated, “I might not suggest (visiting Canada) for tourism, training or enterprise.”

Nevertheless, he added that the majority Canadians deal with Russians nicely, and Moscow’s journey advisory for Canada solely warns of road gangs and a “slightly harsh local weather.”
Stepanov says relations between Ottawa and Moscow are in a deep freeze and claimed that Russia has been unable to open a consulate in Vancouver.
